Re:Rose is a free, community-run private server based on ROSE Online. By creating an account, logging in, or playing the game, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. We may change these terms at any time; the version on this page is always the one that applies.
1. Your account
- You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your password and your email address secure, and change your password if you think someone else has seen it.
- Your account and every character, item, currency and clan on it belong to Re:Rose, not to you. We can suspend or reset any of it when the rules are broken.
- One person may hold several accounts, but you may not use extra accounts to gain an unfair advantage (for example to bypass a limit, farm yourself, or dodge a ban).
- Report a problem with your account within two weeks. Past that, we may not be able to help.
- Anything that happens because you shared your account, played on a public or shared computer, or let someone reach your email is your own responsibility.
2. Account security
The security of your email address is critical: most account recovery goes through it. If someone gains access to your email and uses it to take over your account, we cannot help you recover it. We strongly recommend enabling MiGuard from your My Account page to restrict which devices can act on your account.
3. Fair play and conduct
These rules apply everywhere: in game, on our Discord, and on any channel tied to Re:Rose. Staff have the final say on how each case is handled.
- Respect other players and staff. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that is racist, sexual, or otherwise offensive, in any language.
- No cheating. Bots, macros, memory editors, packet tools, or any third-party program that changes how the client behaves will get your account permanently banned. Automation tools such as AutoHotKey or AutoIt are not allowed.
- No bug or exploit abuse. If you find a way to gain something the game did not intend you to, report it instead of using it. Abusing it leads to a suspension, which can become permanent depending on the damage.
- No scamming. That includes swapping an item for one with a similar icon in the hope the other player will not notice. Confirmed scammers are permanently banned, and losses from trades made outside the normal game mechanics are not refunded.
- No kill-stealing or griefing outside of the zones designed for player-versus-player fights.
- No real-money trading. Selling accounts, characters, items or in-game currency for real money, or trading them across other games, is forbidden and leads to a permanent ban.
4. Donations and the Item Mall
Re:Rose is free to play. Donations are optional and only cover the running costs of the server. In return you receive RPoints to spend in the in-game Item Mall. Donations are non-refundable, and RPoints and purchased items have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for money. See the Item Mall page for the full donation terms.
5. Availability
This is a hobby project run by volunteers. The game and website are provided as-is, without any guarantee of uptime, and may go offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We are not liable for lost progress, items, or time.
6. Enforcement
Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban of your account, and where warranted a hardware ban from all our services. If you believe a decision was a mistake, you can contest it by opening a support ticket from your My Account page.
