Getting Started
New to Re:Rose Online? Here's everything you need to create your account and take your first steps in the world of AruA. Looking for in-game system guides (crafting, clans, refining...)? See the Feature Guides »
Your First Steps
- Create your account. Register for free on the website — you'll use the same login for the game client and your My Account panel.
- Download and install the client. Grab the Windows client from the Download page and run the installer (about 1.2 GB, DirectX 9 compatible GPU required).
- Create your character. Launch the client and log in with your account. Pick a name, gender and starting appearance — your class family comes a little later, through Job Quests.
- Learn the controls. Move with Z/Q/S/D or the arrow keys, left-click to target and attack, right-click to interact with NPCs and pick up items. Keybinds can be changed anytime in Settings.
- Start your first quest. Look for the NPC with a yellow "!" above their head near your spawn point — talking to them opens the tutorial questline and gets you oriented around town.
Once you're comfortable with the basics, check the Feature Guides for crafting, clans, refining and more.
Every character starts in one of four base class families. Reaching a certain level and completing the matching Job Quest unlocks your 2nd job, and later your 3rd job.
Soldier
The frontline melee family. Soldiers advance into Knights at 2nd job, favoring shields and crowd control, before branching into Champions at 3rd job for raw two-handed weapon damage.
Muse
The magic and support family. Muses become Magicians at 2nd job, wielding elemental staff and wand spells, then split toward Clerics at 3rd job for healing and party support.
Hawker
The ranged and mobility family. Hawkers grow into Raiders at 2nd job for dual-wield and gunner combat, then into Scouts at 3rd job for bow and traps.
Dealer
The trade and crafting family. Dealers become Bourgeois at 2nd job, specializing in shops and cart battles, then Artisans at 3rd job for crafting and gathering mastery.
Changing Your Job
Your character doesn't pick a class family at creation — everyone starts as a base Visitor. Job changes happen through special Job Quests: a short questline given by a Job Master NPC once you meet the level requirement. Completing it permanently unlocks the new job's skills and equipment.
| Job Change | Level Required | How to Start |
| 2nd Job | Level 10 | Talk to the Job Master in your starting town |
| 3rd Job | Level 100 | Talk to the Job Master after completing the required field quest |
Job Quests can be re-attempted if you fail a step, and don't require a party — though a few objectives are easier with friends along.
Is Re:Rose Online free to play?
Yes. The game is entirely free, no subscription required. MiPoints purchases in the Item Mall are optional.
Is there pay-to-win?
No. The Item Mall only sells cosmetics, storage expansions and convenience items — nothing that outclasses gear earned in-game.
How do I report a bug or a player?
Open a support ticket from your My Account panel, or post in the #bug-reports channel on our Discord.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes — RoseMobile is our official Android client and shares the same account and characters as the PC client. See the Download page for the APK.
I forgot my password, what do I do?
Use the "Lost password" link on the login page to reset it by email.
