What data Re:Rose keeps, why, and what you can do about it.
Last updated: July 2026.
Re:Rose is a free, community-run private server. We keep as little personal data as we can, and only what we need to run the game and your account. This page explains what that is. By using the website and the game you accept this policy; if we change it, the current version is always the one on this page.
We do not ask for and do not want any sensitive personal information beyond the above.
Your data is used to create and secure your account, run the game, process donations, answer your support tickets, and, if you opt in, send you occasional news about the server. We do not use it for anything else.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own use. The only outside services that receive part of it are the ones strictly needed to run the site: PayPal when you choose to donate, and our email provider to send account and reset messages. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
The website uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in while you browse. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Logging out or clearing your browser data removes it.
We send transactional emails you cannot opt out of while you have an account, such as email confirmation and password reset links. Newsletter and news emails are optional: you choose whether to receive them from your My Account page, and can turn them off there at any time.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data from the live database; copies may remain in backups for a short period (around 30 days) before those backups rotate out.
You can view and update most of your data yourself from your My Account page. For anything else, including a copy of your data or deletion of your account, open a support ticket and we will handle it. If we ever became aware of a data breach affecting you, we would let affected players know.
Questions about your data? Reach us through the website ticket system or on our Discord.
